Only $150 a month will provide a home and loving care for ten children. |

Please scroll down to see and read all. Until 1997 this was home to more children than the building really could accommodate. It didn't bother them, even having little space to keep their few belongings. But with so many more children needing a home and an opportunity to learn about Jesus, God was about to do a wonderful thing. And these little ones got to see Him do it! (Incidentally, the big round wall on the left is the water well.) |

It's Sunday morning. With bibles in hand, everyone is excited to be going to Sunday School again. The lady in pink is Daisy, the matron and 'mother' to these children. Like a mother hen she carefully watches over her little flock. Lack of a lovely lawn hasn't deterred this godly woman. Here is living proof! |

Would you believe that right in front of the old building stood this residence of a relative who suddenly got the urge to move to Madras city? And would you believe he offered to sell it for $9200, a fraction of its value? And would you believe there were enough folks like you and me who believed God was up to something and wanted them to get in on it? |

". . . Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it . . ." |
|
And they did! In amounts of tens, twenties, hundreds and thousands people gave. By the deadline of December 31, 1997 the money was paid and a deed transferred. |

The children still eat their meals on the floor. In fact, they also sleep on the floor with straw mats beneath them that can be rolled up and stored during the day. There is neither space nor money for much furniture. But oh, how much better off they are! This is like heaven to them. |

This nice addition is on the side of the new building and provides a combo girl's dorm and chapel room. Many little girls will get a chance for a future here. The elementary grades from Fairview Christian Academy worked together to raise a Christmas gift that built this and will benefit many helpless children in far away India. Others are warmly invited to join in what God is doing here. |

"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not . . ." Jesus |
|
The old building is still in use because it allows more children to come. It is far safer and better than the near nothing they are coming from. The hay is for the two cows that give good milk. . . Think of poor, sometimes destitute children coming into a loving Christian environment. Think of having enough food every day. Think of learning about the wonderful Savior and how He makes barren lives fruitful. Just think! Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing our Great Redeemer's praise! |
